WEDDING
I love shooting weddings! Everyone is filled with so much joy, laughter and happiness that it makes my job as the photographer fun. My goal is to deliver photographs that not only look great, but also will be able to retell the story of your special day.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Not everyone is a model and not everyone enjoys having their photos taken. But that’s where I come in. I make it a priority to make my clients comfortable and enjoy the moment. Taking photos doesn’t have to be stressful and in fact it can be a time for the bride and groom to enjoy each other’s company without hundreds of eyes on them.
DETAILS
Brides imagine and plan their wedding from the dress, venue, flowers down to the finest details like invitation fonts. The wedding day is so hectic and busy for the wedding party that sometimes its hard to take it all in when you're entertaining hundreds of guests. Having a photographer spend time to search out the details so that you can go back and look at them all really helps to paint a picture of your special day for years to come.
GETTING READY
Spending time with your bridesmaids, groomsmen, friends and family is very common while the anticipation grows to get married. Many brides and grooms provide their wedding party with gifts, exchange gifts and letters amongst themselves. Photographing these moments doesn’t only provide a way to look back at the moments before you say “I do” but it also helps me the photographer build rapport with everyone. Which in turn turns into more personal prints.
FIRST LOOK
First looks are not for everyone but they to offer quite a few benefits. For one you will get to enjoy seeing each other in privacy and can take the edge off the anxiety of getting married in front of hundreds of people. Secondly, since the bride and groom have now seen each other we can start taking portraits. The more photos we take before the ceremony then the more time you get you to spend with your guest during the cocktail hour.
CEREMONY
The moment we gathered here for. The ceremony is the really the most important part of the day. It is the time you commit to each other and I will have the privilege of documenting it for everyone to see. My goal is to capture the all the parts of the ceremony without being too big of a distraction.
PORTRAITS
Depending on the schedule the formal portraits can happen before or after the ceremony. They include the wedding party, family and the bride and groom. Cordinating these photos is a mix of technical and artsistic expreice. Usually during the timeline consultation we will create the list of photos and locations we will take them.
RECEPTION
Time to let loose! Every from the first dance to the bouquet toss is captured. Weather your reception is inside a hall or outside and lit with patio string lights I will make sure to capture all the laughter and happy tears. There is even some tricks I use to help the DJ get your guests on the dance floor that also results in an awesome group photo of everyone at the wedding.
BRIDAL SHOWER & REHEARSAL
Weddings are bigger than the one special day. Leading up to it you have bridal showers, bachelor and bachelor parties, rehearsals and rehearsal dinners. Mothers, Maid of Honors, friends and even the Bride spend time planning and decorating these events. Having a professional photographer there will help to capture the details to the laughs. I provide documentation of these events at a discount with the purchase of a wedding package.
DELIVERY
2-4 weeks after your wedding you will receive a link to a personal gallery with your edited photos. With this gallery you will have access to download, share, and print your photos. Your gallery will remain active for 5 years and after will be moved to cloud based archive will you will still have access to download. active for indefinitely Below is an example of 3 weddings galleries. This is a fun way to share you photos with family & friends and allow some people who are not tech savvy to be able to order prints and have them delivered directly to their house.
